Nature: white crystal, soluble in water.
Uses: Widely used in the manufacture of chemical products such as sodium sulfide, ultramarine blue, sodium silicate, and paper, glass, dye, printing and dyeing, pharmaceutical and other industries. It is also used as a detergent filler, a vinylon spinning coagulation bath, and an acid passivation solution for conducting salts and galvanizing layers in electroplating.
