Properties: colorless monoclinic crystal or white powder. soluble in dilute acid, slightly soluble in water, solubility in cold water is larger than hot water. Insoluble in alcohol and acetone, density 2.11g/m³, melting point723℃, boiling point 1230℃.
Usages:It is widely used in aluminum electrolysis, steel casting slag, special glass, ceramics, glazes and other industries, it can be converted into lithium chloride, lithium fuoride, lithium bromide, lithium hydroxide monohydrateand other lithium chemical compounds.
